About Us

PK Welding, LLC was formed in the year of the millennium. Though a young company, the staff and ownership represent over 120 years of mechanical contracting experience. The previous companies that were brought together to form PK Welding bring with them specialized accomplishments having built complete manufacturing facilities in the laundry, pharmaceutical, food , paper and chemical industries. Our principal business is the replacement of boilers and manufacturing equipment in the institutional, industrial and commercial arenas.

Years of collaboration between owners, engineers and sub-contractors have given us a deep pool of strategic alliances allowing us to provide a turnkey service and be able to staff any project.

We at PK Welding have performed contracts in excess of $5,000,000.00 and are poised to take the next step to multiple and larger contracts. We have invested in personnel with both construction management and plant engineering experience. The benefit to our customers is a project professionally managed insuring that start-up time is reduced and that all OSHA and Work Place Standards are taken into consideration.

The owners of PK Welding, Paul Gucker and Robert Parmentier, each bring with them over 20 years of experience to the job site every day. Personal attention by the owners to insure compliance to design, adherence to all construction codes, quality of workmanship and on time completion is given to each project.

We feel by maintaining Christian values, integrity, honesty and communication with all our customers and by giving them the advantage of higher productivity and higher efficiency at competitive prices we will grow with our customers, enhance our communities and strengthen our country.

We are very proud of our work force. Having watched the attack on the World Trade Center from the roof of a nearby manufacturing plant, several of our sub-contractors and supervisors took equipment that evening to the sight of the disaster. They began to cut away huge steel beams in order to enable rescue workers to reach the victims. They worked through the night until relieved by demolition contractors and the National Guard. The following morning they returned to our job site ready to work. They demonstrated the American spirit and we are proud of our employees.

As we look to the future of our company we believe that the character of our members, their ability to meet the demands of our customers and their ability to meet the demands of rapidly changing technology will be a strong foundation for our future growth.

Sincerely,

Paul Gucker, Partner and General Manager
